Robbi has been working with clay since she was 13, having been inspired by a demonstration given by a wonderful potter under a tent at a craft fair! This clay obsession led to art school and her own studio in the Ell of their 200 year old farmhouse. She loves to work in stoneware clay and make pieces that are both fun and functional. Her work reflects all the years of living and working on a small farm in both NH and later in her present home of Windsor, Maine where she is constantly inspired by the animals and plant life around her on the farm and in the surrounding country side. She decorates her stoneware pottery with a variety of brightly painted whimsical farm animals and wild creatures, from Hedgehogs to Ravens! Hope that these pieces bring happiness to your life!
